WHO CAN APPLY

FOOD business including food manufacturers, traders, retailers, importers, exporters, storage units, transporters, and caterers, can apply for an FSSAI license in India.

  • Form B: Completed and signed application form.
  • Photo ID and address proof of the Food Business Operator (FBO).
  • Declaration form stating the details of the food business.
  • List of food products to be handled or manufactured.
  • Food safety management system plan (for manufacturers and processors).
  • Blueprint/layout plan of the food processing unit (for manufacturers and processors).
  • NOC from the local municipal corporation or health department (if applicable).
  • Certificate of incorporation or partnership deed (for companies or partnerships).
  • Photo ID and address proof of the directors/partners.
  • Food product-related documents such as the label, ingredient list, and nutritional information.
  • Certificate of analysis for water to be used in food processing.
  • Evidence of possession of premises (e.g., rent agreement, utility bills).
